SAP HARDWARE SIZING. It is used to measure/determine the hardware i.e, required for SAP Systems to be implemented. SAP provides QUICK SIZER Tool to calculate the Skeleton Model Sizing. The Quick sizer is a tool jointly developed by SAP and its hardware partners to help customers get an idea about initial sizing.
This blog is w.r.t. the BI 4.1 sizing guide, which was referring “BI4 Resource Usage Estimator”, to estimate the hardware requirements, based on customer needs.
With additional components and functionalities being introduced in consequent releases, we have decided to upgrade the “BI4 Resource Usage Estimator” and move it into “QUICK SIZER”.

Thus, it’s a best practice to use the Quick sizer from now on, as already updated in the 4.2 sizing guide and also in the “Sizing and Deploying SAP Business Objects BI 4.x Platform and Add-Ons”
